My Summer Goals List

One of my favorite things to do is look forward to fun things, especially summer events! For the past six or seven years, my friends and I have made summer goals lists of things we want to do before summer ends. In the beginning, some of our's were: night swim in the ocean and swim out to the sand bar as much as possible. My goals on this year's list are a little more safe, but just as fun ;) 1. Tube down the Ichetucknee River in Florida and swim in the cold springs 2. Buy rocking chairs for our front porch 3. Watch the fireworks on the 4th of July with my toes in the sand in Jax Beach 4. Read the whole collection of Harry Potter books (only one read so far) 5. Scan, print, frame, and hang collection of old photographs I've found of my family and my husband's in my office 6. Give my very difficult and stubborn pup a short summer hair cut 7. Write and finish a new poem 8. Make a cheesecake, for the very first time 9. Have a tea party, most likely with my lit

Sneak Peek, Seven Year Old Spunk

A good friend/client of mine sent me a design idea that she wanted me to do for each of her children. I tried it out on my niece first today, and this is what turned out <3 I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Herman Family

I can't begin to write how much I enjoyed this session at Morgan View Farms with the Herman's. Fields, barns, running horses, green green green...I love this location and enjoyed every minute! We almost got blown over with the hurricane winds and had to take cover in one of the barns to wait out a three minute rain, but all of that was part of the fun. It was wonderful to watch this father and his girls interact, he is raising two amazing young ladies. The connection between Morgan and her horse Nick was also really cool to observe. They had such a special bond that was beautiful to capture. During the gaps where a particularly mischevious horse named Kally wasn't busy burrying her nose in my neck- nibbling and kissing me and my big camera- these are the some of my favorites that I got, I hope you enjoy!

Film Photography and Gorgeous Vintage-Inspired Pieces

I'm finding with this summer weather, it's more and more difficult to find  time to be indoors and post because there's so many fun things to do outside! I'm  a little behind, but finally catching up on my posting.  These are a few of my favorites from a shoot I did about a month ago with three very talented photographers: Neal Carpenter, Kerinsa Marie Mullins, and Maddy Kross. They all shot film, which is such an inspiration to me. This was only my second time modeling for film photographers; it's also a little frightening for the model to "get it right." Here is what came out. Hope you enjoy! Neal Carpenter Maddy Kross  Kerinsa Marie Mullins I'm wearing a Lisa Toland hair accessory from Barney & Stella of Macon, Ga. I fell in love with the Lisa Toland hand crocheted pieces I found at Barney & Stella. Toland designs the metal wire into beautiful vintage lace. I took some more close ups of some of my favorite pieces. They'
