Elizabeth & Lanier in the Leaves | Georgia Photographer

This brother and sister duo were such a delight to photograph. I'm drawn to joy and happiness, and this shoot brought me both. I love that Elizabeth and Lanier were playful and ready to have fun. The tall trees, light, and sea of leaves made the perfect setting to make these pictures. One of the many reasons I love spending time with kids is because you get an excuse to act like a kid again. Life just isn't as good if you can't play in the leaves. I love my job. Enjoy these!

A boy and his dog | Frost Photography

When a potential client approaches me in person to talk to be about making pictures of their children, they inevitably want to know about Frost Photography. Some times they have seen my work, some times they have not. The images above convey what I aim to capture. In this case, the shoot was technically over, I was gathering my gear, and I looked up to little Louis playing with his toy airplane with their dog watching nearby. There was nothing that was going to stop me from picking up my camera again. Moments like this is what I live for as a photographer. I often describe my style and perspective as unposed, real, and timeless. Those are my three attributes I strive for in my work. Ten years from now, I don't want my work to feel dated because I followed a trend. Props and staged settings are extremely prevalent in this day of photography. I'm not knocking those styles because many of them are done really well and turn out great. I just am not that photographer.

Baby Miles | Frost Photography | Georgia Photographer

I can't begin to describe how much I enjoyed making these images of baby Miles. Just look at his bright blue eyes and sweet grin. We talked big brother, Louis, into hanging out and joining in with us for the session too. He was great at tickling his mama and making Miles light up.  I'm so blessed to have a job that allows me to work with such great families. Kara, you have such wonderful sons! I can only imagine that your two daughters are just as sweet. You make motherhood look beautiful. Enjoy these!

Kate & Claxton | Frost Photography

There is so much I loved about this session! The gorgeous light, the interaction between Kate and Claxton with each other and the horses, and the green barn/field setting! This brother sister pair and their excitement for horses made this session so much fun for me. Like these two, I feel right at home when I'm around horses. The peace found in their eyes and power of their bodies speak wonders to the soul. Kate and Claxton, you guys emit such a wonderful understanding and friendship for each other.  Sara, you're such an amazing mother and an inspiration to me as well as many. I hope you and Mark enjoy these for many years to come!
