For the last solid month I have been shooting Fall Mini Sessions and I can't even tell you how happy each session makes me. Meet Cam and Anna, brother sister combination that made me smile the whole time hanging out with them. I enjoyed capturing all the silliness and awesome friendship these two share. God knows my heart better than I could ever imagine. I can't express how cool it is to me that he brings people in my life that even though I'm only with them for a short time, make my heart so happy. These two were really cute to watch interact- grabbing freckles off each other's faces and pretending to gobble them up, making each other crack up laughing, and telling me which one gets away with the most trouble at home :) Kelly, thanks for letting me have these two for the session, I hope you enjoy these!

Family Fun before the Big Wedding!

I had the privilege to photograph this wonderful family a few days before a beautiful wedding took place in Dahlonega, Georgia. There was a mixture of youngster grandkids, parents, grandparentes, and family members who travelled as far as Italy, who were all excited to celebrate the marriage of Aynsley Simpson and Tate Girardeau. Enjoy the pictures! It never fails, my personal favorites are always the ones with grandkids and grandparents My husband was in the wedding, so I thought it would be fun to get a few snaps at the rehearsal while they were busy practicing. The wedding took place at the Monteluce vineyards. I was blown away at the beautiful setting! They made the perfect choice to say their vows in such a gorgeous setting and have their guests stay in such a great location. The 2nd Annual Summer Enrichment Camp

I had the most amazing opportunity to work with nineteen children for a week. The children who were selected for this camp are from foster homes, broken families, and other adverse situations. Each one of these kids startled something inside me. I love being struck- it's one of the most imporatant things in life, to be struck by another human being. It's imporant to me to get out of my own small world, my own relationships, jobs, life. I'm so thankful for this experience that poured new light into my life. These children go through struggle, conflict, not the rosiest of experiences, BUT it's like their sweet spirits, smiles, and inner joy are trying to put the pieces back together. The mission of the Summer Enrichment Camp is to provide a positive and enriched environment and fulfilling experiences for at risk youth in the Brunswick, Georgia area. When a potential client approaches me in person to talk to be about making pictures of their children, they inevitably want to know about Frost Photography. Some times they have seen my work, some times they have not. The images above convey what I aim to capture. In this case, the shoot was technically over, I was gathering my gear, and I looked up to little Louis playing with his toy airplane with their dog watching nearby. There was nothing that was going to stop me from picking up my camera again. Moments like this is what I live for as a photographer. I often describe my style and perspective as unposed, real, and timeless. Those are my three attributes I strive for in my work. Ten years from now, I don't want my work to feel dated because I followed a trend. Props and staged settings are extremely prevalent in this day of photography. I'm not knocking those styles because many of them are done really well and turn out great. I just am not that photographer....
